Alter Ego de Palmer comes from different plots than Palmer and is produced with a different blend than the Grand Vin, Chateau Palmer regards the wine as its own, unique wine. If a reclassification ever took place, it certainly deserves a place amongst the pantheon of Bordeaux.

The vinification of Alter Ego takes place in the same cellars and vats as Chateau Palmer, with the same technical team as well.
